The Students4Sustainability evaluation committee has selected three innovative interdisciplinary student projects for funding in the third call: Student Minds Network, You "C" Cards and School compost as a learning laboratory for sustainable action.

The Sustainability Day of the 4 Bernese universities will take place on 31 October 2025. Apply with your project for the project market or a campfire session by 15 May 2025 and become part of the Sustainability Day.

The project group is looking for people who would like to help shape the participatory action week ‘I can consent!’ in July 2025 in Bern with workshops, performances, readings, film evenings or other formats.

As we look back on the year 2024, we see a mosaic of commitment, inspiration and forward-looking ideas that drive forward our common goal - to support students from the four Bernese universities in their commitment to sustainable development. A lot has happened in the last twelve months and we are pleased to provide an insight into the activities of Students4Sustainability over the past year.

The Bernese Environmental Research Award 2025/26 (www.ufp.unibe.ch) is open! We look forward to receiving nominations submitted by February 16, 2025. The prize is particularly aimed at young researchers and is open to all disciplines and scientific fields.
