Neurodivergentes Znacht is a community initiative that organises regular social and networking events for neurodivergent students and graduates from universities, universities of applied sciences and other tertiary education institutions in the Bern region. The project provides a welcoming and understanding environment where participants can connect with peers, exchange experiences and support one another.

In addition to four community dinners per semester, the association organises a variety of low-threshold activities, including walks, film evenings and special-interest gatherings. Participants are free to actively engage in discussions, build new friendships or simply enjoy spending time in a space where they feel understood and accepted.

Beyond its community-building activities, Neurodivergentes Znacht advocates for improved accessibility and inclusion within higher education institutions. Through its Inclusion Working Group, the association works towards better accommodations for neurodivergent students and increased recognition of neurodivergent perspectives in educational settings. In doing so, the project combines peer support, empowerment and structural change.
