We are the hub for student engagement in sustainable development at Bern’s higher education institutions.
We are a joint initiative of the University of Bern, Bern University of Applied Sciences, the Bern University of Teacher Education and the University of Teacher Education NMS Bern. Together, we are committed to promoting student engagement in the field of ‘sustainable development’ across all higher education institutions.

Current Projects
Kompost-Bande demonstrates how a school compost can become a living laboratory for sustainable action. Following a successful pilot project, the concept is now being scaled and embedded in additional schools.
Neurodivergentes Znacht creates a safer space for neurodivergent students and alumni in Bern.
Lake Elinor is an interactive serious game that allows participants to experience the opportunities and challenges of managing commons through collaboration, negotiation and collective decision-making.
